Background...meeeh. It isn't terrible, but I could have put a hell of a lot more effort into it. I wanted to sit outside and look at a real scene and sketch it around the dino, but it is November. In Maine (otherwise saying, really cold). D: Not good for..sitting outside and arting.

Oh well.

Details in the feathering, and the coloring is just beautiful. Lovely work once again. :>

Actually I like the undefined background. In fact if it weren't for that scraggly tree in the back this could well be an artistically motion-blurred background ;)

As for the animal itself I like the colour choice and detail (of what I see of it) though the right arm/wing is a bit off, as it should have a smoother insertion with the body. Keep up the good work :)

The colors are beautiful! They look realistic, too. I actually like the scraggly tree in the background, it looks cool. :D

You keep on getting the better. This one is has a lot of action and is very dynamic. Have you experimented with making the background first and then making the dino over it? If the media does not let you, maybe make it on a transparency and put it over the background? Just a thought.

Thanks. =) Yeah I had some trouble with the right arm attaching to the body.

Actually there's a bigger scan here showing more of the details: [link]

I always scare away from doing the critter last, because I'm really picky about getting that aspect of the drawing to look super-perfect (or at least satisfying enough) and it feels less satisfying not knowing how it'll come out beforehand. Or something. :P

I know, I should try it more though. I've heard it helps with perspective.
